Purpose of award: To assist graduate and professional students who can demonstrate financial need.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be U.S. citizens or eligible noncitizens, legal residents of the state of Maryland and complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Applicants must contact the financial aid office of the institution attending and request to be considered for a Graduate and Professional Scholarship. Grants can only be used at the following schools: University of Maryland, Baltimore CUMB) Schools of Medicine, Dentistry, Law, Pharmacy, or Social Work; University of Baltimore School of Law; The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine; The Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine or certain Maryland institutions offering a master's degree in nursing or social work.

Eligibility requirements: Applicants and their parents must be Maryland residents. All applicants must have an unweighted cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 or higher. Applicant's family income may not exceed $95,000 annually. Applicants must enroll at a two- or four-year Maryland college or university as a full-time, degree-seeking undergraduate student and major in an eligible program.
